Purchase AFD Items from CSD Online
🔹 Step 1: Visit Official
Website
Go to 👉 https://afd.csdindia.gov.in
This is the official
CSD AFD portal for purchasing high-value items like:
·
Cars / Bikes
·
Refrigerators / ACs / TVs
·
Washing machines / Microwave ovens
·
Laptops, etc.
🔹 Step 2: Register (First-time
Users Only)
If you haven’t used the portal before:
1.
Click “Shop Now” →
“Not a member yet? Register Now”
2.
Fill in details:
o Name
(as per CSD Card)
o Card
ID / CSD Smart Card Number
o Chip
Number (on the back of the card)
o Service
details (Rank, Service No., Service Type)
o Date
of enrolment / retirement
o Mobile
number & Email ID
3.
Upload:
o CSD
Smart Card copy (both sides)
o PPO
(for ex-servicemen)
o ID
proof (if required)
4.
Submit the form.
✅ After approval (usually within
1–3 working days), you’ll receive a confirmation
email/SMS.
🔹 Step 3: Login
Once registered:
1.
Go to https://afd.csdindia.gov.in
2.
Click “Login”
3.
Enter your Username
(email ID) and Password
🔹 Step 4: Browse &
Select Product
After login:
1.
Choose your Category
(Car, Bike, Electronics, etc.)
2.
Select the Manufacturer,
Model, Variant, and Dealer.
3.
Check price, specifications, and availability.
4.
Click “Add to
Cart” and then “Checkout”.
🔹 Step 5: Enter
Purchase Details
You’ll be asked to fill:

CSD URC
(Canteen) Name & Code
·
Dealer
details (choose from drop-down)
·
Loan
details (if financed)
·
Bank name
& IFSC (for payment)
·
Upload:
o PAN Card
o Service/Retirement details
o Eligibility certificate (if applicable)
🔹 Step 6: Confirm &
Generate Demand
1.
Review all details carefully.
2.
Click “Confirm
& Generate Demand.”
3.
A Demand Form /
Application (with unique demand number) will be generated in PDF.
🔹 Step 7: Make Payment
to CSD Head Office
1.
The Payment
Details will appear on the screen (usually via NEFT/RTGS only).
2.
Pay the total
amount exactly as shown using your bank.
o Payment
is made to CSD HO Bank Account
(given in the portal).
o Mention
Demand Number in remarks.
3.
Upload the Payment
Receipt in the portal.
⚠️ Don’t pay to the dealer
directly — only to CSD Head Office account.
🔹 Step 8: Order
Processing & LS Order
1.
After payment verification, CSD will issue a Local Supply (LS) Order.
2.
You’ll get an email/SMS
notification.
3.
Download the LS
Order (PDF) from your portal dashboard.
🔹 Step 9: Collect Item
from Dealer
Take the following to your selected CSD Dealer:

LS Order
copy
·
CSD Smart
Card
·
ID proof
(Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
·
Payment
receipt (if required)
Dealer will verify documents and deliver your
product.
🔹 Step 10: Update
Record
After delivery, ensure your purchase record is
updated in your:
·
CSD Smart
Card (for next eligibility cycle)
·
Service
records / ESM documents (if applicable)
