HOW TO SUBMIT DLC USING SPARSH

To submit your Digital Life Certificate (DLC) using the SPARSH portal, follow this official step-by-step process. This is the simplest method if you're comfortable using a smartphone or computer with a camera.


🛡️ Submit DLC via SPARSH Portal (Face Authentication Method)

This is the recommended and easiest method as of 2024–25.


Requirements:

·         SPARSH Login credentials (User ID & Password)

·         Aadhaar number

·         Aadhaar-linked mobile number (for OTP)

·         Device with camera (smartphone or laptop/desktop with webcam)


🔗 Step-by-Step Process:

🖥️ Step 1: Visit SPARSH Portal

·         Go to 👉https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in/


🔐 Step 2: Log in

·         Click on "Login"

·         Enter:

o    User ID (Usually your SPARSH PPO Number)

o    Password

·         Click Submit


📄 Step 3: Go to Life Certificate Section

·         Once logged in, click on “Life Certificate” in the left-hand menu.

·         Then click “Submit Life Certificate”.


🎥 Step 4: Choose Submission Mode

·         Select “Face Authentication” method.

o    This uses your device’s camera for identity verification.


🧍 Step 5: Face Scan & Aadhaar Verification

·         Enter your Aadhaar number

·         OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number

·         Allow camera access

·         The system will prompt you to look at the camera for live face scan

·         Follow the on-screen instructions until authentication is successful


Step 6: Submission Confirmation

·         Once verified, the DLC is auto-submitted to SPARSH

·         You’ll receive a confirmation message

·         The certificate is valid for 1 year


📲 Optional: Use SPARSH Mobile App

You can also use the SPARSH App (Android only) to submit DLC via Face Authentication.

·         Download from Play Store: Search “SPARSH Defence Pension”


🔄 Check DLC Status:

1.      Log in to SPARSH portal

2.      Go to Life Certificate → View Status

3.      You’ll see:

o    Date of submission

o    Status: "Active" or "Submitted"
